April Meeting Election

Dear Executive Committee,

We are about to begin the month of April. Our Post 335 election of officers is just a month or two away. 

I would like to announce the election at the April Post meeting. At that time, we would circulate a sign up sheet showing the offices to be filled. Members could indicate those in which they would like to serve.  

The election would be held at the May Post meeting. Results would be formally announced  and installation of the new slate would take place at the June meeting. I believe we would fill these slots: Commander, Adjutant, Vice Commander, Historian, Chaplain, Sergent at Arms.  

This approach would provide time for those interested in serving to reflect and communicate. And finally, I am not planning on running for Post Commander.
